Before you come, it helps to soften the wax with an olive oil ear spray, usually twice a day. Most chemists sell one, or I can supply Earol spray for £5.

Until November 2026 the practice is called The Fishponds Practice. Same building, same people.

Getting here

We're on Fishponds Road, opposite Straits Parade. Coming from the M32 or the city centre, follow Fishponds Road for about a mile and a half until you see Straits Parade on your left.

It's an easy trip from Staple Hill, Downend, Frenchay, Kingswood, Eastville and Stapleton.

By bus

• 48 and 49 from Old Market
• 47 and X49 from the Bus Station
• 5a from St Pauls, 5b from Stapleton

Buses run every 15 to 30 minutes. The nearest train station is Stapleton Road, about 2 miles away.

Parking

• No parking in the bus lane on Fishponds Road, Monday to Friday, 7am to 10am and 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
• Between 10am and 4.30pm, on-street parking is limited to 1 hour, with no return within 1 hour.
• Straits Parade: 2 hours between 8am and 6pm, with no return within 1 hour.
• Blue Badge bays are at the start of Radley Road and outside the shops in Straits Parade.
